I was working a booth at convention center and just needed out for lunch.
BGSC was a short walk from there so went in and sat at bar upstairs.
When I review restaurants, I try to grade against their chain or similar style.
Staff and bartender were friendly.
Had a good local craft cold beer (bartenders suggestion) to start and mac n cheese w/ shrimp (I think). It was very good. A bit heavy for lunch, but excellent taste. Food came out quickly.

Terrible service. We enter at at 145p. There is no Iine. I can see 6 open tables from the door and 2 more that need to be cleaned. Takes nearly 15 min to be sat. Then 4 groups come in behind us and they get waiters and drinks before us.
I will not be visiting the Denver downtown Bubba Gump again any time soon.

This makes our 9th Bubba Gump location we've dined at. This location is severely under staffed especially for a Saturday night. People were being told there was an hour wait and the place is empty. The manager ended up being our waiter and gave none of the usual theme information... It's like we were just sitting down at any normal resteraunt. No explaining the license plates or anything.... STOP FOREST STOP
I ordered the net catch Cajun style. I ended up only eating 1/2 of it as it was horrible. As others have stated it tasted like they were pulled out of a freezer. All you taste is a bland shrimp that has no flavor expect water. I had to keep cleaning out some gritty nastiness from every shrimp I ate. Otherwise they would have the worst texture of anything I've EATEN. Time to pray I don't get sick before or during my flight in the morning!
Wife ordered a Cesar salad but with ranch dressing instead. Unfortunately they put Cesar dressing so it was sent back. What seemed over 20 min later we received her salad with the correct dressing. The lettuce was no where close to fresh and most had that brown or red edging to it.
After all this we decided to try and make it better by ordering our usual cookie sundae. But it only made matters worse as the ice cream was freezer burned. When I brought it up to the waiter he acknowledged that he saw it.... So why serve it to us?!?
The manager ended up comping all but the beer. So disappointed especially for our last night in Denver. :(

We had high hopes when coming to visit, but unfortunately the food was absolutely horrible:( the atmosphere was fun and super adorable, and staff was great, but the food was just so disappointing.

Service was shit! Our waitress didn't even acknowledge us at all. Our food took an extremely long time, ended up having to take it in a to go box. Never asked for refills during our wait. Restaurant wasn't even busy, maybe like 10 people in there.
